Welcome to Boll Weevil Soap Company, a family-owned business deeply rooted in Enterprise, Alabama. Our journey began in 1997 when Rosemary Howell, a local RN, recognized the need for natural bath products free from harmful chemicals. Boll Weevil Soap Company is motivated by a commitment to quality and natural ingredients. We started with just five types of natural soap bars, and now our product line has expanded to include more than eighteen skin-loving items. Boll Weevil’s soaps are crafted with care, on-site in Enterprise, AL, catering to the skincare needs of the entire family.

In June 2017, Chad and Kendra Wester took the helm of Boll Weevil Soap Company, infusing it with their passion for quality and community. With Chad bringing twenty years of retail communications experience and Kendra contributing seventeen years in local Baptist churches, they became the proud stewards of a brand known for its commitment to excellence.

Chad and Kendra Wester are the proud parents of Tyler and Anna-Tyler, and their family-focused values resonate throughout the business. As a Christian company, Boll Weevil Soap Company upholds the principles of Colossians 3:17, ensuring that every product reflects a dedication to quality and care.

In a feature in the July 2023 issue of Alabama Retailer Magazine, Chad and Kendra Wester were celebrated as Main Street Cheerleaders, embodying the spirit of small businesses. The article highlights their roles in the community, with Chad serving as the founding chair of Enterprise Main Street and actively supporting fellow business owners. Kendra's dedication to quality control and on-site production is evident in the meticulous crafting of each handmade product. Company's commitment to handmade, artisan products. Chad’s recent appointments to the NFIB (National Federation of Independent Business) Board and the 2024 board of directors by the Alabama Retail Association further underscore Boll Weevil Soap Company’s commitment to the retail community. 

Despite challenges, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chad and Kendra's resilience shines through. The move from Boll Weevil Circle to Main Street in downtown Enterprise in 2019 marked a significant chapter, aligning the business with its namesake, the Boll Weevil Monument. This historic landmark symbolizes resilience and innovation, values mirrored in Boll Weevil Soap
